Our story begins when we realized that even long after the turn of the century, where we observed huge technological shifts, the players in the Financial Service Industry are still struggling to make the technological shift by truly establishing a digital organization.

It is our experience that a 'shift in thinking' can be supported by a technological shift. This shift in thinking involves a new mindset of 'business aspect of the organisation' versus 'the integrated control aspect of the organisation'.

We developed the vision that consumers in the financial sector are best served by an integrated, effective and efficient approach. Controlling business conduct and client servicing processes is a vital component to customer satisfaction, out-performance and corporate agility.

Therefore we have developed an approach that would counter those challenges. Following our approach we felt the need to understand the practice of incrementally build a better, technological way of working and facilitate our approach with automated solutions. We decided to take the step forward and develop that technology, acquire the skills and gain the experience for what we believe is needed as a foundation to revolutionize organizations towards a tech-way of controlled operations. It brought us the stepping stone for our clients to increase the development of their smarter ways of working.

Our approach caters for this quality and helps organisations incrementally work on better practices that are more digital and smarter.

We 'just took the leap' and started the development of the technology that is needed for the industry to start its transition to truly digital. That is how we built Fimantic. Consider it our first and foundational project. Born from a joined effort with clients, data scientists and system developers. Now, the experience and skills gained as much as the technology itself offers our partners a valuable vehicle to start their journey.

When consulting in the industry on what was needed to make this transition to smarter work and digitisation happen, the reply we got was that there was a need for a bold (external) enabler as internal mandates often do not suffice to explore what it takes to change.
